04 — aRcj Labs

Real problems, solved with the right startups.

We design and run innovation labs for sports clubs and entertainment venues. You set the challenge, we find the startups, and the best idea is built and tested on your own ground — with sponsors behind it and a Board decision at the end.

The situation

Your income arrives in peaks around big events, so every event day counts. You have problems worth solving — queues on the day, energy costs, fans and guests you rarely hear from between events. Startups are building answers, but finding the right one, testing it properly and getting a decision takes time nobody has.

What we do

We run the whole programme for you. One clear brief, a scouted shortlist, a pitch day, a real test and a Board-ready result — all followed in one portal your team, the startups and your sponsors can see.

How a lab works

Seven stages, one decision.

  1. 01 · Challenge brief: the club or venue sets the problem to solve.
  2. 02 · Scouting: we find startups that could solve it.
  3. 03 · Shortlist: the best startups are chosen.
  4. 04 · Innovation Day: shortlisted startups pitch to the club or venue.
  5. 05 · Onboarding: the winning startup is signed up.
  6. 06 · Build & test: the solution is built and tried for real.
  7. 07 · Review: results go to the Board, with a decision on next steps.

FAQs

Questions we hear often.

How long does a lab take?

About six to nine months from brief to Board review, depending on how long the test needs to run.

Do we need technical staff?

No. We run the programme and the portal; your team sets the challenge and makes the decisions.

How do you find the startups?

An open call plus our own scouting, then intro calls and scoring against criteria agreed with you.

What does it cost?

It depends on the shape of the lab, and we'd rather scope honestly than quote blind. The first conversation is free, requires no brief, and we'll tell you plainly whether we're the right fit — and what it would cost — before anything starts.
