Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, work email, company name and your message. When you contact us via WhatsApp or email, we receive the information you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and deliver our services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and where an engagement follows, the performance of a contract.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and how you found us. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We use Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising measurement tags to understand whether our advertising is effective. These technologies use cookies, which are only set with your consent (see Cookies below).
We do not sell personal data. We do not use automated decision-making. We do not send marketing emails without consent.
Service providers who help us operate: our website hosting provider, Google (analytics and advertising), and Microsoft (advertising). Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Contact form enquiries are retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction, or longer where an engagement follows (in which case client records are retained per our contractual and legal obligations). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics settings (default is 14 months).
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these, email rob@arcj.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
